The Roderick and Solange MacArthur Justice Center in Washington, D.C. pursues material and lasting change on social and criminal justice issues, primarily through litigation before the United States Supreme Court and other appeals courts around the country.

The MacArthur Justice Center is one of the premier civil rights law firms in the U.S.  Since its founding in in 1985, it has had an extensive record of success in achieving criminal justice reform through litigation in areas such as the rights of the accused, the death penalty, police misconduct, and prison conditions.
